Pissed Off Pumpkin (2001) consists of the artist dressing up as a pumpkin holding a shiny megaphone wandering around the room telling the audience/viewer to f*** off. It is the pumpkins' intention to cause offence and alarm; yet she is ill-tempered, lethargic and half-heartedly sticks her fingers up at us. Perhaps this is a physical act of assertion freeing the artist from all pent up emotions. By wearing a costume and mask she becomes another more able to tell us how she really feels.
